Visit MaARTe, showing some of the finest artisanal works in the country! On its second year, the event will showcase contemporary and antique jewelry, decorative and functional pottery, clay sculptures, glass and metal works, fashion accessories, and home accents, all crafted locally.
MaARTe 2011 runs October 21 to 23 at the SLab-Silverlens, Pasong Tamo Ext., Makati City. Friday & Saturday sale hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm; Sunday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
MaARTe 2011 is organized by the Museum Foundation of the Philippines to raise funds for programs that benefit art and culture in general and the National Museum in particular.
So spend an exciting few hours this weekend at the SLab and see our evolving heritage: crafts produced in time-honored traditions and contemporary pieces inspired by them!
